How to Choose the Right Baby Formula

It’s something normal to care so much when buying baby formula. Because choosing the right nourishment for your little baby is a pretty difficult decision, and there are lots of options for that. When buying a baby formula, you have to keep in mind a few things, like considering the form that it comes in, the type of the protein it uses, and the other ingredients that are included. By considering all these details, in the end you will be able to choose that baby formula which is the best for your little baby and your lifestyle. Baby formula comes in three basic forms which are: Ready-to-use, concentrated, and powdered.

Ready-to-use baby formula is definitely the most suitable one, because there is no measuring or mixing required for that. You can just open it and feed your baby. It’s that kind of formula that doctors or hospitals often give to newborn babies. Another good thing about baby formula is that it’s hygienic and very helpful, especially when you are in a place that you have no idea if the water there is safe or not. But on the other hand, they have a very short lifespan. Once you open the ready-to-use baby formula, you have to use it within 48 hours.

Concentrated baby formula is much different. It needs equal amount of water and formula for making it, though it’s better to always read all the instructions on the container before using it. Comparing to the ready-to-use formula, concentrated baby formula is less expensive and takes less place for carrying.

Powdered formula is the most economical formula that you can use for your baby. Although it takes more time to be ready, but it has a one-month shelf life after the container is opened. Just don’t forget to follow the instructions carefully before using it.
